The Association's publishing program, in print and on the web, relates directly to ALIA's mission and values. The publishing program facilitates the flow of information and ideas as part of ALIA's engagement with members, the wider library sector and the Australian community.

Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Provision of a Commission Agent For Advertising Procurement for ALIA Publications
The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is currently reviewing its contract for the provision of specialist advertising services. Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from suitably skilled and resourced advertising agencies to undertake work relating to the successful sale of advertising space within ALIA's publications. The closing date for the EOI is 28 August 2008.

ALIA produces a number of flyers, brochures, press releases, information booklets, annual reports, and submissions to government inquiries.

The monthly email newsletter, aliaNEWS, is available free to everyone who is interested in ALIA and the library and information sector. It is available on the ALIA website or by subscription.

ALIA publishes several journals, including ALJ (the Australian Library Journal), AARL (Australian Academic & Research Libraries) and inCite, our monthly news magazine to members. Selected articles from these journals are available on the ALIA website.

Journal subscription rates are available here and ALIA membership discounts apply. Journals can be ordered via an order form or via our online shop.

The Association also publishes various other publications. The publications currently available for sale from ALIA National Office are listed here.

ALIA Resources Directory 2008 is now available to ALIA members. Vendors and suppliers may list in the Directory at any time.

ALIA groups are also active in the production of publications (newsletters, journals and flyers). Responsibility for the production and distribution of these items rests with the particular group.

ALIA's star, acronym and Association name are trademarks. The use of these trademarks must conform to ALIA's branding guidelines and A guide to using the ALIA logo. ALIA logos for use in group documents or related material may be downloaded.
